    Syrian archer Al-Masry wins five medals at Arab Championship

    Shorouk al-Masry, a Syrian archer, has won five medals at the Arab Championship for women, which was held recently in Mauritania, winning one gold, two silvers, and two bronzes. Coach of the Syrian national team, Karen Sorour, said in a statement that the countries participation was limited to only two athletes.

In addition, Sourour stressed the importance of these achievements. He wished that more players would participate in the upcoming competitions so that Syria can have the best chance at winning a medal.
